I've been quite the busy bee. And, as it always seems to happen, I take on too many things and have to take some forced time off. And so I thought I'd analyze that for today's blog post. Specifically, when do I decide to power through and when do I decide to chill?

Pictured: Me, every so often.
On reflection, it seems that the largest question that I reflect on is "Have I proved that I can do the thing?" It's much easier for me to take a break from a commitment I've already proved that I'm up to the task for. For example, I'm taking a break this week from The Radio Demon's Lair, but I've already shown myself and the network I'm working with that I can put these things together in that kind of timeframe. So, it's easier for me to consider this a break and not a breakdown in the show that requires completely re-thinking what's happening.
At least, that's what I'm telling myself.
