I work with the willing

of which I've only found few.

But in the choice before me

I decide to do.

You'd think more people

would want to have some fun.

But most are contented

letting others have their run.

Waiting on the sidelines

isn't exactly my style.

I can't seem to sit still

and still keep my smile.

So I don't wait for permission.

I don't wait for a proper crew.

Armed with those around me,

I force my way through.
